Jersey City, New Jersey, June 07, 2010: DG3 North America, Inc. announced today that John Tenwinkel, Director, Digital Operations will be awarded the 2010 Prism Alumni Award.
John began his career as Production Coordinator at Progressive Printing of Milwaukee, Wisconsin during summers off from his university studies. John later moved to Tanagraphics in New York City as a Customer Service Representative. John joined DG3 as a special projects administrator and was later promoted to the role he currently holds leading DG3’s digital business.
John earned his Master of Arts in Graphic Communications Management and Technology from New York University’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies in 2008. He came to New York following graduation from University of Wisconsin Stout School in 2003, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Communications Management.
ñJohn uses his past experience along with his formal NYU training to succeed in a changing business environment. He has earned the respect of the entire sales, operations and senior management team at DG3.î commented Tom Saggiomo, DG3’s Chief Executive Officer.
The Prism Award symbolizes excellence in art, communication, leadership, graphic design, technological innovation and freedom of expression. This award is presented annually to students whose scholarship, academic record, and leadership skills are exemplary. The recipient is chosen by the advisory board of the Graphic Communications Management and Technology Program in the School of Continuing and Professional Studies. The advisory board is a collection of professionals from the leading corporations in the Graphic Arts industry.
The Prism Student Award will be presented to John at the 24th Annual Prism Award Luncheon on Thursday, June 10th in New York City at the historical Gotham Hall located at 36th Street and Broadway.
