CGI Europe signs On-Site Reprographics Contract with Tube Lines Ltd

London, England 16 February 2007 CGI Europe, part of The CGI Group, a leading global provider of print and communications services, today announced that it has recently been awarded the on-site reprographics contract for Tube Lines, one of the UK’s largest transportation development and maintenance companies which is rebuilding some of the busiest lines on the London Underground.  This exclusive contract covers their organisation-wide reprographics requirement.

Under the terms of the contract, CGI will support Tube Lines’ own internal reprographics manager and assume sole responsibility for the provision of on-site print facilities at Tube Lines, providing time critical services such as scanning, laminating, digital reprographic services, poster design, multi media identification and NCR sets, across three sites in London.

Barry Page, Director at the CGI Group, said, “We are delighted that Tube Lines has selected CGI as its partner for their in-house reprographic requirements and that they join the growing list of premiere clientele with medium size in-house reprographics facilities management requirements; a market we are focused on growing.  We are committed to delivering a unique and highly effective middle-market reprographic facilities management solution to our clients, which now includes Tube Lines.

Andrew Pereira, Procurement Manager at Tube Lines said, “We are pleased to announce that the CGI Group, currently supporting Bechtel, Halcrow and a number of other engineering operations within the UK have been identified as best placed to move forward with our in-house Reprographics Centre at Westferry Circus.”

As part of the agreement, Tube Lines will use CGI’s recently enhanced print management system, cgiNet, which provides project price estimating, order submission, print and distribution file upload, automatic split printing order processing and cost estimating, management reports, data exports, distribution pricing, online file archiving and retrieval, key word search of all files, order recall, and automated invoice generation.
