Summary

DG3 is seeking a Senior Production Coordinator to serve as the critical link between our Sales team, our high-profile clients, and our manufacturing facility. You will act as the "Customer Advocate" within the plant, ensuring that complex job specifications—spanning commercial print, digital print, and mailing—are accurately translated into actionable job tickets.
This is a high-impact role requiring a meticulous professional who can manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining the highest standards of quality and on-time delivery.

Accountabilities

  • Project Leadership: Lead pre-production planning meetings for complex, multi-departmental projects.
  • Workflow Oversight: Coordinate daily with Sales, Estimating, and Manufacturing to ensure production is efficient, on budget, and meets client expectations.
  • Client Advocacy: Function as the primary point of contact for clients; manage inventory, resolve delivery conflicts, and maintain professional service standards for high-profile accounts.
  • Technical Job Entry: Write complete, accurate, and specific job tickets for all assigned work.
  • Financial Integrity: Review billing to capture missed charges (Author Alterations, expedited fees) and obtain authorizations for cost recoveries (overtime/extra costs).
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality objectives and lead meetings with supervisors to mitigate technical risks or quality concerns.

Supervisory/Leadership Responsibilities

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Tenured Expertise: Minimum of 10 years of experience in print production, specifically managing high-profile accounts.
  • Hybrid Knowledge: Strong background in commercial (offset), digital printing, and mailing services.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel) is required. Direct experience with Monarch MIS systems is a significant advantage.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills for both internal plant collaboration and external client management.
  • Mindset: A highly organized initiative-taker who thrives in a high-stress, deadline-driven environment.

  • Setting: Primarily office-based, with regular presence in our manufacturing/warehouse areas (which may be noisy or temperature-variable).
