Summary

The DG3 Manager, Sales Coordination is a key role, where being meticulous, adaptable and detail oriented are key attributes to being successful. Having a positive attitude, being client focused and possessing a unique ability to handle high-stress environments is critical, while leading a small team to do the same. In this role, one will be required to oversee a team and directly support our sales group to verify client information, relay order instruction(s), gather information for RFPs/Proposals, complete monthly sales reports as well as on occasion issue invoices/billing.

This individual should have experience in sales environments as well as strong administration skills. These are critical in enabling DG3 and our Sales organization to meet our annual sales targets as well as ensuring complete client satisfaction while increasing DG3 brand loyalty and augmenting our industry reputation/credibility. The successful candidate will be energetic, adaptable and have a strong ability to learn.

Accountabilities

  • Serve as an essential support for the Sales Team.
  • Oversees current sales coordinators and sets objectives for upskilling and quality of service
  • Develop processes and tools to standardize and streamline sales support functions
  • Oversee and participate in presentation and proposal development processes
  • Provides support to Sales Executives
  • Receives and processes purchase orders
  • Verifies orders, including client information and payment details
  • Contacts clients by phone or email to answer queries and obtain missing information
  • Maintains and updates sales and client records
  • Compiles and gathers data for monthly sales reports
  • Expedites as appropriate, client orders through internal liaison with other departments within DG3
  • Ensures accuracy of sales transactions invoices/billing as appropriate
  • Directs feedback as appropriate from the client to relevant departments within DG3
  • Identifies products/services to add to those on offer (i.e., increase value-add to the client where needed)

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent verbal and writing skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and client service skills
  • Ability to analyze a client’s requirements to provide input to either sales organization or operations
  • Ability and desire to learn the graphic communications industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite, especially in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Comfort using client portal accounting systems and managing report development
  • Ability to handle strong personalities (internal and external)
  • Problem-solver specialist with strong ability to be creative in addressing client needs and meet stringent timelines
  • Consummate professional with a positive attitude and ability to handle stressful situations

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar preferred
  • Previous experience in sales administration
  • Print services, or similar industry experience a plus but not required

Work Environment

The job is performed within the company’s office setting located at the DG3 Headquarters in Jersey City, NJ. The environment can be stressful at times with deadline pressure to complete multiple priorities.
