Employee Spotlight: Liah Avegno

Production Coordinator | DG3

Some people take a straight path into print production.

Liah Avegno did a pirouette.

Liah Avegno

Before she ever spec’d out a print job, she was a professional dancer — performing full-time with a company in Florida after graduating from a performing arts high school. Ballet, jazz, musical theater. That was her world. Until it wasn’t.

She loved dancing, but it was relentless — rehearsals, pressure, and very little balance. Eventually, she stepped away and made the move from Florida to New Jersey, looking for a new chapter and a different kind of stability.

She started working in the service industry, not knowing that the next big shift was already in motion. One of her regular customers at the restaurant — Pat, DG3’s Chief Operating Officer — noticed her work ethic and customer focus. He asked if she’d ever considered a job in print. One interview later, she was in.

From day one, Liah’s been the kind of person you want at the center of the action — calm, capable, and quietly holding everything together.

As a production coordinator, she’s one of the first people to touch a job. She listens to the client, reviews the specs, pulls in the right teams, and helps chart the best course forward.

“I describe it like quarterbacking,” she said. “You’re translating the client’s goals into a clear plan for production, estimating, shipping — everyone involved. You’re connecting all the dots.”

She works closely with the team to evaluate what’s been requested — offering recommendations, refining the approach, and making sure the final product meets the client’s needs while staying efficient and cost-conscious.

She’s not just in the middle — she’s the bridge. Between people and processes. Between expectations and execution.

And she does it all with a calm, thoughtful presence that makes her a favorite among coworkers and clients alike. The kind of person everyone wants on the call.

But as impressive as Liah is — and she absolutely is — she’ll be the first to credit the team around her.

“I’ve had the benefit of learning from people who’ve been in this industry for years,” she said. “They take time to explain things, walk through the details, and make sure I really get it. Everyone here wants each other to succeed.”

That kind of environment doesn’t happen by accident. At DG3, developing new talent means pairing fast learners with experienced professionals, supporting them in real time, and giving them the tools to grow with confidence.

Outside of work, Liah is full of range. She hikes, fishes, camps. She holds a boat license and a firearms permit. She reads anything from Jane Austen to Stephen King. She’s passionate about crime thrillers and she’s always got a new streaming recommendation queued up.

She may not have come up in the print world, but she’s made a place for herself in it — quickly, confidently, and with the kind of grace and grit that makes people take notice.

We’re lucky she’s here.

Why We Spotlight Our People
